Well… I really wanted to go back to Europe again, and this time I wanted to go to new places. My plans changed a few times, and went through a few variations. I was originally supposed to go with a former acquaintance, but that plan fell through just a few months before we were supposed to go. My buddy Eric from my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class was going to go on one of those bus tours, and he asked if I wanted to go with him. I told him that I’d go with him to Europe if we did it backpacking style in hostels n’ he said yeah.

Eric wanted to start out the trip in London, so we could see some sites, and visit a place he once lived a few years ago. We’ll take the high speed train over to Paris next, and go under the English Channel. After a quick trip to Paris we’re gonna head over to Belgium. This is where I really want to taste some of the best beers in the world. We’re gonna go to Brussels, and spend at least a day in a small town that Eric visited a while ago called Bruges. After Belgium we’re gonna head up to Amsterdam, and do what we do best up there n’ party. Hopefully we can sober up enough n’ take a night train over to Prague to have some of the best and cheapest beer around. To finish off our trip we’re gonna go to Munich and the world famous beerhalls.

Mexico was quite a trip. It all started about a year ago when I went to Europe. When I was in Barcelona I met a guy named Thomas, and he knew all the sites, and showed us around the city. He had previously lived in Mexico for a few years, and was planning on going back. I kept in touch with him, and he soon asked if I wanted to go to Mexico with him right after Christmas. I was like... cool... let's go see some pyramids and chill on the beach.

I met up with Thomas and his brother at the airport in Mexico City. We got some bus tickets to Pachuca which isn't that far from Mexico City. We stumbled around the city, and eventually went to stay at a friends of theirs. The family was really cool... Father and two Daughters. We met up with some of there friends and did some partying. The best part of our time in Pachuca was being able to go to the Pyramids... WOW was that cool.

We soon headed down to a town in Southern Mexico called Oaxaca. There we stayed at a cool little hostel, and met some really cool guys from New York. We chilled in Oaxaca for a few days.

With our new friends from Mexico we now had 5 people n' we all wanted to go to the beach. One of the guys knew about a small little town called Mazunte which we could go chill and relax at. It was nice and out of the way. I could say some good things and some bad things about our trip to the beach.

Eventually we made our way back to Oaxaca, and spent our last few days there seeing all the stuff we didn't get to see the first time we were there.

Finally it was just me and Thomas in Mexico City. We were there for less than 24 hours, but we stayed at a really nice hostel, and I got to go roam the city and the town square.

Europe with Mel and Denise

This trip to Europe would be my first time across the Atlantic. It started out in a small bar in Chino. My friend Melissa was planning on going to Spain to visit her family. Her lifelong friend Denise was asked to come along since she was good friends with the family. After they talked about it a few times I told them that it sounded like a great idea, and I couldn’t wait to go to Europe someday. After I told Melissa that she quickly invited me along for the journey. Well as things turned out the rest of her family didn’t go, and it was just the three of us to go and visit her relatives.

Going to Japan with my Jiu-Jitsu Instructor

I wish that I could have gone for a longer period of time, but it was nice to visit Japan.

I had just got back from a quick trip up to Canada with my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor Javier "Showtime" Vazquez. He was asked to participate in a grappling match against one of Japans best Caol Uno.

It was a quick trip for us, and the jet lag was pretty bad. I've never felt the jet lag like this. Uhhh... by the time I was starting to feel ok... it was time to leave.

Hopefully I'll be back in the future.

Kearsarge Pass... 11,760 ft.

This trip started a long time ago. My Dad had talked about going up to Kearsarge Pass for a long time. He had many memories about going there with his Father and Brother. My Uncle had recently passed away, and my Dad thought it would be a good experience for my Dad, Me, and my Brother to go up there on a day hike and check out the Pass.

After we hike up and down there, we’d head off up north to Lake Tahoe and do some gambling and relaxing too boot. We’d then pack up early on Sunday, and head on home.
