After living and working in London for 10 years, we have decided to take a year out and travel around South America. Our plan is to spend time in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Chile. Why South America? Well, apart from its treasures, like Machu Picchu, the Galapagos Islands, the Iguazu falls, we hope to learn to speak Spanish, and have enrolled at a number of language schools along the way. The final three months of our trip will be spent in New Zealand, Australia and South Africa. This blog is mainly for friends and family so thay can follow our progress, and also for ourselves as a record of the trip for us to look back on when we´re old and grey. But hopefully it will also be interesting and/or useful for people planning to travel in some of the places we visit. Adios David
