well, out of asia and on the the next... here comes my 11th, 12th, and 13th countries of the trip and all is well. things are quite a bit different as i proceed from this point on my own. although there are both ups and downs associated with this new found freedom, i am mainly stoked and relishing in the endless possibilities! i've able to reflect on the first 11 months, all the while enjoying NZ's magnificent geography, meeting kind souls, trekking, exploring, and getting involved with the world-class grape and wine industry here. by now the harvest is over, the wine has been made, and winter is rapidly approaching. tho id love to stay in NZ longer it is expensive to live here and difficult to make a good living, so ive decided to wrap up my time by saying goodbye to my mates and moving on to some tropical islands of the South Pacific. It is on the nation islands of Tonga and Samoa where i will work on my tan, drink kava tea, and relax in a culturally stimulating environment before returning to summer fun in the US, catch up with friends and family alike, work for a while, and see what the future may bring...

hey everyone! arrived in bangkok on 16may2007 and all is well! 3 weeks climbing in thailand, a week of climbing and organizing an indonesian visa in malaysia, and just came off of almost 2 months (not nearly long enough) in indo. now im back in malaysia enjoying cheap indian food and the luxuries of the 1st world (fast internet and good roads) and planning the next move. generally going to head north into thailand and laos after a few relaxing weeks of chilling and climbing in malaysia... stay tuned....aloha! back in thailand tomorrow! just finished two masters in june and august '06 at UCDavis, now working at a winery in NY and praying that December 18th comes quick! work which started out as an incredible experience has turned into a nightmare due to roomate/collegue childish drama, but cant quit cause i need to save a bit more cash to sponsor my ass over the next year+ of travel. dont know whats going to happen, but cant wait to get the funk out and be set free! just me and my girl, the open road, smiles, cultures, sunsets, climbing, clear blue oceans, and full mooons every 28 daze... first stop = spain > portugal >>> kenya > tanzania >>> Safrica >>> thailand > laos > cambodia > vietnam > malaysia >>> all of Samerica! cant say whats after all that, but im sure we'll think of something...! holla!
