Hi all, Well, we said goodbye to Sydney last Wednesday. We then flew to Perth and spent almost 2 days over there. Its a nice and relatively quiet city, we liked it,specially Kings park. On Friday we hired a campervan, and since then we've been enjoying our driving holiday around SW OZ. The scenery is spectacular, both the coast and the inland forests are pretty amazing. The beaches around Cape Naturaliste have white sand and pristine blue waters surrounded by reefs...really nice! Margaret river is a wine area, so its full of places to tempt your buds ( cheese factories, chocolate shops, and of course plenty of wineries!) we reckon it is much nicer than the Hunter valley north of Sydney. Our campervan experience is being great so far. Its really liberating to be able to stop and stay wherever you like. No more cold sandwiches for lunch!! its all about gourmet food these days!!! ;o) Heading to Fremantle and Rottnest island on Friday for our two last days in Australia!!!!! .....and Howard hasn't called the election yet...unbelievable Kelly! ;op BTW, very impressed by the wallabies' performance...hope the cricketers do better.
