At the very beginning, I was planned a trip that get around Nepal,
India, Pakistan and Tibet. Someday I saw a map in library that showed the ancient Silk Road Routes from
China to Middle East, then my plan was totally changed. My Greater Silk Road' started on mid of May, passed through China, Central Asia and reached Middle East on September. I still have a good mood and in a good shape to keep going, then I extened the journey to Europe. I was concentrated on
Eastern Europe coz I was so interested on those ex-Communist countries, I really want to know more about their cultures and histories. Due to the season change, I'd decided to head back south to somewhere warmer. Now I am in Africa, the last stage of the trip. It is the second last continent that I haven't been visited before. So far my journey was all by land, no fly at all. I am satisfied for that and ready to go home (take a
flight of course:)). For the rest of the trip I will try to keep overland as long as I can, until someday I feel tire for the African buses... I thought, fly is for lazy people, people whom they don't really care or understand what is a real journey... (I am a lazy man though!)
