Hi All! You have reached the journal of my round the world adventure, well done! Every diary entry will be listed in this journal so please scroll down to see the entries which are listed in date order. You can see on the world map below the route I have travelled so far, and within each diary entry if you look at list to the left of the map, you can also select a map just showing that particular country - this way you can see a detailed map of India for example, with all of the places visited there. Otherwise if you are looking just at the world map, it can all become a bit of a blur! Anyway enough rambling from me - thanks for looking and enjoy!
This is a trip I took out to the USA in June 2004. I first visited my friend Josh who lives in San Francisco with two of his friends. I didn't really do much in the way of sightseeing as it was my 5th trip out there, but we had some really fun nights. My first night there we ended up at a club night called 'Trannyshack' which was at 'The Endup'. It was such a hilarious night and we drank loads. Needless to say that being me something had to happen, and I ended up sleepwalking during the night. I locked myself in the back garden and then climbed through an open window over a 15ft drop. I dont really remember anything, but this is what we pieced together! San Francisco is still a really beautiful city, and my favourite in the world so far!
After a few fun packed days I picked up a convertible and drove out to Napa Valley for 6 nights to stay with my friend Cindi.
Napa was really hot, and I had such a nice time there. It was good to catch up with people I had not seen for a while.
Then myself and Cindi flew up to Seattle for three nights to celebrate Cindi's birthday. Seattle was a really great city, very cosmopolitan and the area by the waterfront was probably the nicest. We spent some time sightseeing, ate good food, and went out drinking until the early hours of the morning! I even went paragliding whilst in Seattle.
We then flew back to San Francisco together before I flew back to London.
