Well here we are, approaching the final countdown. We both have our last day of work tonight, and then are both gainfully unemployed!!! (or some might say, mostly retired). Lots of parties in the next few days, and then we're off on Wed, the 24th. Off to Europe for a couple of months, first stop is Scotland, and then Norway, onwards around Europe to Russia. Train accross Russia, Mongolia and China, Japan, into South East Asia, and from there, to Australia, NZ, Fiji, and across the Pacific to South America and North America, all going well. This is a hugh trip and will take a long time, probably 2-3 yrs. Right now we are getting nervous and excited but can't wait to go.
