After spending 7 months in South America it is time to switch our attention to some other parts of the world as we leave the UK behind, after a quick pitstop, and head anti clockwise around the globe. This time we will be doing things on our own without the safety of a big yellow truck to carry us around, should be a breeze! I hope you find it as interesting and enlightening as the previous efforts.

Greetings, Jude and I have decided that the time is right to have a break from the daily grind of work etc etc and have decided on an extended period of travel. For those of you that know us and our habits of taking exotic holidays you will not be at all surprised. We plan to be away for over 18 months seeing the world. The house wil be rented out, our goods have been stored and we have 4 weeks of work left. We will do our best to keep this journal up to date while we are travelling around so you can see what we have been doing. We start with 6 months in South America followed by a month working in the Galapagos Islands. Then a quick visit to the UK to pick up our RTW tickets then off again for a year to NZ, OZ, South East Asia and India coming home via Dubai to see Rob,Jo and Alex.
