This leg started in Copacabana in Bolivia, which borders Peru. After 3 weeks in Peru, I crammed in two more in Bolivia followed by a week in Chile. I used La Paz (Bol) as a base and took trips to the Pampas in the North, and then travelled South through the Salar (salt flats and lakes) and crossed the border into Chile where I was mostly in the beach towns of Arica and Iquique.

Can’t believe I didn’t do this earlier!! Feel incredibly spoilt by all the friends and family who have put me up and looked after me so well. Had a great month in SA and looking forward to Hong Kong. For those of you with atlas’s – I’ve been to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Natal midlands and Kosi Bay (Manguzi).
