Pat & Keri's Big Adventure Down Under

Well, after a fond farewell and ride to the airport from my Mom & Dad, Patrick and I were off for the first leg of our journey. Flying from Toronto to Vancouver... The flight was awful, well there was some turbulence, but what really made it painful was the incredible moving father and son duo that sat in front of us. They didn't sit still for the whole trip. Next was the Vancouver to Honolulu leg of the trip... 6 hours long and it had the worst turbulence that I've ever experienced. I tried to get some rest, but had an aisle seat and the male flight attendant kept banging into me On the next leg of the trip, Patrick and I changed seats. 9 hour flight from Honolulu to Sydney. Still a lot of turbulence, but I managed to get some sleep. No such luck for Pat - he was the one getting banged into on this flight. Finally we arrive in Sydney, our last flight was 1 hour long from Sydney to Brisbane. It was a fine flight, and I was getting very excited for the trip. It was the worst landing of the trip, but who cares!!! We're finally here!!! We're out running some errands - got our bus passes and booked the leg of the trips, got a YHA card for all of the discounts backpackers get down here. It's pretty impressive. So far the people are nice and the food is deep fried, I mean everything is put in batter! We're off to do some shopping then onto the XXXX Brewery tour.
