Cycling trip to Europe May to July 2008

Plan is to do a lot of road cycling, principally in Italy and France. For three of the ten weeks I will be travelling and riding with some of my cycling friends from Melbourne: Dave, Frank, Graeme and Laurie plus Laurie's wife Kay will also be with us. Before being joined by my mates I will be staying a 'bike hotel' in Riccione in Italy (Hotel Belvedere) and after they leave I am booked on a ride in the French Pyrenees and another in the French Alps with an English company(Saddle Skedaddle). Some other friends from Melbourne will be in the French Alps while I'm there and I hope to catch up with them one night too. The reasons for setting this site up are so I can fairly easily provide some updates and share a few photos with folk from cycling, work, other friends etc. However, don't expect too much - I'm planning on having a holiday and do some riding, not spend time in front of the PC.
