Which way to Australia?

I lied. Sorry. Well not exactly. I do own my Jaguar. For the next 24 hours anyway. I sold it. Along with my house. My furniture. My motor bike. Oh and my fish. I said good bye to the opportunity that helped me attain it all. Why? Well its just stuff. You know, stuff. That's right, look around you. You probably have stuff too. Some of you probably have lots of it. Well after four years in Blighty, five houses, well four homes and a bed in Fulham, three years of self employment, two cars and ofcourse countless memories, mishaps, achievments and friendships I am returning the sunblessed land of God 's own country. Granted, during my hiatus, I collected stuff. It makes us comfortable. It allows us to create memories. It also allows us to remember old ones. My sabbatical is coming to an end and with it I am giving up my stuff. In return I will have my backpack, my shoes, my camera and my determination to seek. My partner, my girlfriend by my side and a road of travelled / untravelled paths. No planes. Overland. Europe to Australia. Come join us. Oh and remind me, why did we need that stuff?
