Back at Paolo's!!!

Right back where we started from. Travelled 10 hours by train from Calabria to Padova today and am now absolutely exhausted. Did chat to a couple of Italian teachers though on the train which was interesting. Aussie teachers do have it good, that's for sure!!!

Realised today how tired we actually are, so are ditching our pre-booked flights from venice-london-frankfurt, and going straight to Frankfurt this Wednesday morning from Venice with Lufthansa. Sometimes you just gotta spend money!

Opened up the package with the World Cup tickets this evening, which was exciting, and taking a well deserved rest day tomorrow before our flight to Germany on Wednesday.

PS: Please note that with the photos, some where of a multi-cultural festival that took place in a town called Bucine in Toscana. (Good to see Italians looking outside the square, haha) And, there's a big cylinder shape of solidified pig fat that has been turned into soap. This is soap, the Calabrian way!:)
