Finally got down to Calabria after a 7 hour train ride. Was greeted by Leandro's Zio Franco at the train station for the hour drive up the mountain to Mongiana. It basically rained all weekend, so nothing much exciting took place. It was great to see Leandro and his nonna together though, and to see where his mum Carmela grew up. I actually drank beer and wine to make the hours pass by more quickly, which was a first for me, hehe!
