Forza Dalmatia!!!

The Dalmation Coast has an absolutely superb scenery! Yesterday we stopped in Split for lunch where the sun was shining and the ocean sparkling. Lots and lots of tourists around to soak up the sun.

Arrived in Dubrovnik last night and here again today. Really quite weird listening to the Australian born tour guide (in her 30s) who has grown up in Croatia, talking about living through war and bombs during the 90s.

A bit of tension is in the air at the moment as Montenegro is having a referrendum on Independence from Serbia on Monday. It is very likely that they will want Independence, so we are waiting to see how Serbia will respond. Even with Eurovision, which is a music contest, it is still quite political. Serbia Montenegro has had to pull out of Eurovision as a Montenegran band was to represent Serbia Montenegro, but they were booed by Serbs when announced as winner in Belgrade, so no one will represent them! Luckily we will be back in Italia when this referrendum takes place!!!:)
