Slovenia Invigorates!!!

Thought I would use the motto for Slovenian tourism. Anyway, arrived here yesterday after a 4 hr train ride from Venice. Was quite surprised by how much forest this country has, apparently 50% of total land. We were greeted by Metka at the station which was great. And as such we naturally had vegetarian for dinner. Today we visited Ljubljana castle and the rest of this beautiful little capital. We caught up with Metkas mum for lunch at their home and communicated in both Slovene and Italian,which was interesting, as Metkas nonna was Italian. We ate traditional krankska sausage and potica,a Slovene torte. We even came a cross a bear! Well, a stuffed one at another castle we visited. Theres about 400 bears that still live in the Slovene forests. No need to visit Canada anymore, lol Tomorrow off to the famous Postojna Caves and then a night in Zadar in Hrvatska (Croatia). Ok, Dobra Vecce!!!
