School's out!!!

Finished 'mio corso italiano' today, yay! It was really hard, haha Did learn a lot about Italian culture through the grammatica e verbi activities though. And I graduated from Elementary level, not Beginners! So proud of myself, hehe Well, after 10 years with Leandro you'd hope some 'Lingua Italiana' would click. So all of you coming for Yen's wedding, I'm keeping the handouts from the course, and I'm teaching you all Elementary Italian during our week in the Tuscan villa, hehe:)

What else...??? We actually went to a Mexican retaurant last night. Expensive, as it was in Cardiff, and even at home in Melbourne compared to other cuisines. Really quite fresh produce though, which was great! Mexican (Italian style) has a mixture of Italian and Thai flavours though (basil, corriander and eggplant, lol) Quite nice none the less.

Came across some more Italian wildlife yesterday as we were doing 'la passaggiata', a huge lizard! Quite interesting considering all the brown snake and red back spider comments I get from Italians, haha!

We'll be off to Vanna's tomorrow, hopefully not too sick, as all the Florentines are coughing and sneezing. Oh no, not again!!!

Finally a message for the gang for your get together Saturday. Tin, I wish you an enjoyable 24 hour flight, lol, and am looking forward to seeing everyone in Arezzo. If you visit Firenze before the wedding, listen out for how they add 'ch' and 'h' to all 'c' words. Quite funny! Chiao and Hoha - Hola!haha
