Regional trains in Italy, not an enchanting journey

Text written in: English

Caught the regional train to Lucca this morning which took two hours. Should only take 1 1/2, but we got the train that had to stop at every stop....Was a bit worried that we would catch some flesh eating bacteria in the cabin too, as they're definitely not like the Euro Star trains that travel large distances up and down Italy.

Lucca is yet another nice little town with quite an amazing in tact fortified wall surrounding the city. Had some nice dolci (dessert) there too, hehe We hope to go to Sienna on Monday which Leandro tells me is like Lucca but a lot bigger, so that should be good.

Just want to say hi now to Jo and Ian. "Hey guys!!!" They are another couple we met on our 27 day tour, from Gisborne in NZ. I see you have joined up, so hope you enjoy. Ok, ciao for now everyone:-)
