Warming Up.

Had a pleasant 1 1/2 hour drive to see the biggest lake in Italy - the Lago di Garda. There were lots of Frenchies and Germans around, as the weather was an amazing 25C! Short sleeve weather at last. We ate some gelati for probably the 50th time and picked up a nice 2007 calendar for only 4€. Gotta remember everywhere I went this year, when I'm back at work next year!

San Martino di Lupari where we are staying now with Paolo is so different in the warmer weather. Everything just seems brighter, and having a shower is not as daunting. We still need to hold the shower rose to wash ourselves, but at least the bathroom isn't freezing. Very interesting to see all the African and Asian families that have now moved into the neighbourhood also. Italy's becoming multi-cultural!
