Wow, the Vatican is an amazing place, so much art to take in! Leandro almost collapsed though with his illness, so he slept for 12 hrs that afternoon. I however caught a taxi into the city and caught up with Julie who has also been sick for 3 wks. Was absolutely wonderful to see her, even though we were both almost collapsing as well from coughing and laughing. Her hotel was also full of nuns and priests, so they wouldn't let me go up to her room. Who knows what we would have done??? lol If they only knew...
