we are off the ferry after three days of more or less grey weather. it was nice anyway, we met some old and some new friends, drank some chilean redwine and some austrian beer.
marlene and brendon partied the night away and finally, i could not believe my eyes - had some kind of semivirtualsoftteletubbyseximitationthing going on, while i was watching, these are strange times... but we all had fun.
some people saw whales, we did not. but we saw sealions, far away.
our stop at puerto eden was wet and rainy, the nature was beautiful as were the dogs. the captain of the small boat that took us from the big ferry to the small harbour crashed the small boat into the big rocks but nothing happened. only a little rush of adrenalin. by the way, i am a sudoku master meanwhile.
we expected a little romantic harbourcity but we got puerto montt. this town is almost as ugly, as the little city in peru i passed on my way to puno. i have not decided the winner of the "mostuglytownisawonthistrip" competition yet. it does not matter, as we leave tonight for santiago de chile. better weather, please!
