Blue Ice

as we left ushuaia it started snowing, it was interesting to see the face of this little city changing with a little snow on it. we definitely prefered it without.

after a onehour flight we arrived in el calafate. this city only exists because of one major tourist attraction: the glacier perito moreno. after a very cosy night in a luxurious hostel we went to see the glacier. the weather could not have been better and so we saw this wonder of nature in all its beauty. we were stunned!

the next day we got up at six to get the bus to el chalten, the base camp for all trekkings to the fitz roy mountain range.
