Penguins, Orcas!!! Tierra del Fuego!

today is our last day on tierra del fuego, we spent a week here and i have to say that it was another great experience. the first day we did a boat trip to see penguins and sealions. as if that was not enough, we had the unbelievable luck to see orcas in the beagle channel. the crew of the tourist boat got completely crazy and took their own cameras... the captain told us that he saw orcas here only three time in the last six months and that it's totally uncommon to see them here. on the boat we met michael from salzburg, a guy i met three months ago at the inca trail in peru, i could not believe my eyes. i hope we meet up again soon.

on the weekend we visited the national park and the glaciers, the weather was good but we really enjoyed the hightech clothes we bought. (danke mami!)

on monday we rent a car together with two nice people from the hostel and went around the island for three days! it was great, just watch the pics!

now we are out by plane to calafate!
