After crossing the boarder and arriving at a port near to Phnom Phen, Cambodia's capital, we jumped on to a bus for the last leg of the journey. Immediately you could tell the difference between the two countries. My bum was the first to feel this as the roads are very much still in construction phase. In Phnom Pehn we saw the sights, some not as pleasant as others; the genocide museum (an old school converted into a prison) was shockingly still in the state it was when in action. The National place was fantastic, I even got chatting to some Cambodian monks in Japanese, very random. The food was great and the beer very refreshing. I highly recommend ‘Angkor', the Ozzies seem to like it as it won there coveted ‘International Beer Award'. Keep your eyes open next time your in Odd Bins!
