Today we went to Sydney Harbour and visited the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Art Gallery of NSW.
We and a really pleasent day the sun was shining alot! The gardens were lush and green and we walked, ate, painted and sunbathed. I watched while red ants attacked my dorito's crumbs and angela painted watercolours. We had ice lollies whilst looking over the amazing view of Sydney Opera House and Cockatoo's flew around us and people set up to get married under the trees. Cool place. There are millions of bats. Yep Red haired flying foxes hanging from the trees they were incredible, massive balls of noisy bats dangling from the trees around the park high above.
We also walked down to the Art Gallery of NSW. Mega air conditioning. A nice gallery much like the ones in London, a great range of interesting paintings. The big dfference was an exhibiton run by a company called Art Express. Basically this was awork produced by college students and they were given loads of space a couple of pieces each and it was the most popular exhibit there. Very good idea and it should be done back home.
Tonight we leave for Coffs Harbour first Greyhound bus so we hope it will be comfy! 9 hour drive! fingers crossed*
