Today we went to Taronga Zoo. We caught the bus all the way up to Circular Quay and walked through to the Harbour where we were confronted by Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Sydney Opera House and a beautiful view inbetween.
There were a group of guys dressed as aborigone men playing digeridoos, while we looked across the harbour.
We got a Zoo Pass and crossed the harbour on the ferry which was excellent you got to see everything around the hole harbour. Approaching Taronga was like Jarasic Park. Sydney is mainly buildings a huge concrete landscape but cross the harbour just 12 minutes away and you enter a place with more trees than anything else and set amoungst them is the Zoo!
We caught the sky lift up to the top of the Zoo which passes directly over it. The first thing we did was visit the Koala's we went inside there home and took photos they are really really cute!!
We had a n excellent day and saw loads of animals, beautiful red pandas, hungry lions, kangeroos, platapus's, snakes, lazy sea lions, birds.
What makes this Zoo so special is the fact that it is so warm and sunny as you walk around and as you look at some of the aniumals behind them is the view of the harbour Sydney Oprea House and all! You dont feel as though your in the middle of a city looking at a zoo it is like the middle of a jungle and your just with the animals!
amazing.
