Back to HK

Following Singapore, I stuck my head down at work and tried to get used to the way business is done in Asia, which is a lot different than London! Here people like to deal with people they know and trust, or you have to be recommended by somebody they do know and trust... What that basically means is 1) you have to work for a really well respected company if you are going to be successful and 2) you have to get to know a lot of people..

My network was starting to grow by now. I had made a real life long friendship with a guy called Jimmy Kibble, who had arrived a week after me, and we hit it off straight away. Total and utter lunatic of a man, words caan really not describe him, it's like having about 5 friends rapped into one person, and you never know what adventures you'll get into when your with him.

Ben Michael also arrived about the same time, again a larger than life character, and he and Jimmy and I started to hang around as a trio... Ben and I later decided to move in together and share a flat, which we found in mid-levels, close to the business district. The three of us socialised a lot and the friend list started growing with people like, Lexi, Jared, Risa, Jimi Flemming, Lunny, JP and Randy coming onto the scene.. to name just a few.
