The famous 7's and welcome guests

There are a few things that you should do before your life is over... Rio for carnival, maybe runs the bulls in Pampalona, see new years fireworks above the Sydney Bridge... Another experience not to miss is the Hong Kong sevens weekend at the end of March each year. This place turns into an absolute MADHOUSE!

Millions of mad rugby fans (and people who pretend they care about the rugby) fly in form all over the world to dress up and dance in the stands in the most amazing festival like atmosphere I have ever witnessed. Parties, drinking, parties and drinking for what seems like the longest weekend of your life! We had hoards of people in staying with us for the fun, including about 8 of Ben's mates and even my parents! I can safely say my liver will probably never recover!

Shortly afterwards Sara arrived for 10 days, and she and I went to all of the sights and some of my favorite restaurants. We ate in 39a Gough Street, and had a great evening at the Peak Lookout, until a cloud decided to swallow us whole ... Literally! One minute I could see her across the table, the next minute I couldn't see my hand in front of my face! Sara went on the star ferry and we took loads of shots.. was lovely to show her where I've been while she's been studying hard back at home. I also took her to the Bundy Beach House, which you can read more about in the next entry.

Well eventually everyone went home.. And Ben and i were left to clear up the mess and get back to reality... What a shame! I suppose I had better starting working harder if I'm going to keep this up!
