Day 3

In the morning..just bum around. I found a place where there was access to free internet so just went for that...=) Then, was going to meet my friend from UBC at COEX Mall..so walked there for a bit. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to see her..but got in touch and finally..met up. She showed me Insadon..a traditional type koreanm village. It was cool! We tried North Korean style dumplings. so yummy! next, went to district of Meyondong..Lotte Dept. Store. and tried a famous green tea place!! sooooo good! I love sweet potato and pumpkin! good taste here..these koreans have. =P After, went to a jap buffet place with my friend that I was staying with..awesome food. I was stuffed to the max!! Went back to rest..after a hard day of eating out.

Day 4

DMZ Day

With the friend I was staying with, went to the DMZ..it was good to finally go to some sort of museum type place and learn something about Korea. I really can't remember all the places we went in such a short time..but man, North Korea..not good. No trees on its hills. and you see little houses..and wonder what people actually do in that country. It's quite depressing. The pics which I will upload will give some sort of indication of what I am talking about. After DMZ, as it was NYE, had to celebrate somehow. We went to the univeristy district for some clubbin..and miss the downtown celebration..but was all fun and drinking. at least my first new year abroad was quite memorable.

Day 5

Finally, get to the real reason I am here. To work at Jeju English Camp. I did not know what to expect. But the next day..had to go at 7:30 am to Gimpo Airport..hoping there was a ticket waiting for me. Well..it worked out. and met the guide. and finally, after free lunch (shrimp burger) and a bus shuttle, I arrived at the camp. What goes on..well..that's to come. =P
