Noah and I arrived in puerto viejo after a long day of bus rides to come to one of the more interesting towns we have visited. Puerto viejo is basically just a surfer/tourist town on the southern carribean coast, which has a great vibe and is very tourist friendly.

Noah and I stayed at a hotel called Rockin J's which is decorated frenetically with colorful tiles, murals, and interesting wooden furniture. As it was raining there, and we were excited to move on to Panama, Noah and I spent only one night in Puerto Viejo and opted to leave early in the morning for bocas del toro panama.
