The bus to Sao Paulo was far too short, and extremely comfortable, allowing us only four hours sleep. Thus slightly bedraggled they took the tube to the centre of Sao Paulo. Tim remembererd having the best breakfast of his life at Se main square and so after a fruitless search for that and a bank we ate somewhere different. The morning was spent sightseeing with half open eyes and weary feet. They decided to eat lunch in the Japanese district, which was set in bizarre little restaurant without a sign. It was however a great meal. After filling their stomachs up on sushi and the like they needed a rest and so headed to the nearest cinema, which was actually quite a long way away.
The only film they could see which allowed them enough time to get to the airport was "Capote" which neither of them had heard anything about. Despite Ben's MA in literature he failed to put together the film title with the American novelist Truman Capote writer of "In Cold Blood." It mattered very little however because with in minutes both of them were fast asleep.
A bus to the airport and a last per kilo meal and it was off Uruguay.
