Estamos muito cansado (we are very tired)

Having been overseas for more than a month, both of us are feeling very tired. The constant movement from place to place over the first few weeks, listening to two foreign languages, football training, a busy schedule and just generally coping without familiar routines and places has left us feeling pretty wrecked. (Not to mention a couple of tummy bugs.)

We have been amazingly blessed in Curitiba with people who speak English and who are prepared to go out of their way to help and be generous to us. Language learning has been tiring and at times frustrating. As soon as we start to to be able to string some words together and understand some of what is being said to us, we have to change country and language. However last night as we sat in Church, not understanding much as usual, a  young Brazilian law graduate got up to explain why he was leaving his job to spend a year in Thailand, we were reminded again of God's bigger purposes and that whatever we learn about football, football projects or cross-cultural work, the most important thing is that we live for Him wherever we are and to be open to God using us wherever he chooses.
