surreal life in boulder continues. still surrounded by conspicuous consumption (that I have no part in anymore), babies (had to part through a brigade of like 10 mommies-n-strollers that had taken over the sidewalk. I felt like moses....), and lots of really really big cars (gas is getting close to $4 a GALLON (not litre) and people are freaking out here....)

went to a strip club in denver with brigitte and my best gay mates, then danced it up at the only club in d-town worth it - vinyl. a friend was spinning for his b-day and it was quite good even if it all ended by 2am. but found out I can no longer dance my ass off at altitude....I was actually resting! getting my fill of ethnic food before I"m surrounded by only rice. and overwhelmed by the little details I still need to wrap up - what is this thng called stress???

it's because I'm in the final countdown - 4 days left in CO, then off to CA. I hear rumor I'm seeing al pachino in an oscar wilde musical?? in LA. too strange to pass up. also realized I leave for bangkok on the 23rd, not 24th. nice to know I'm starting this trip with as much cluelessness as the last. been thinking its the 24th for the past 3 months....
