...after 6 months of pretty much lazing on a bus, I'm behind the wheel once again. I could sit on a bus for 18 hours in SA no prob, but now put ME in charge and in less than 15 minutes, I go a little nuts. don't even get me started about rush hour.... a little shocked at how fast the stress returns! but met up with my denver crew at one of the nicest bars I've been in in a long time. would've blown my daily backpacker budget on just drinks if everyone didn't pick up my tab...too cool, but totally unneccesary. after, went in search of house music with brigitte, but denver was asleep. ended up in a yuppie bar drinking tanqueray/tonics trying not to get picked up by desperate 40-somethings. yikes - get me outta here!
