Hello from Sapa -

Made it back from the 2 day trek through the terraced rice-fields, and our 'homestay' in a village...  really enjoyed it and will write more about it later.

More fresh air, mountains and waterfalls with our guide today.  Giving our legs a rest & getting motorbikes for today - yay!

Sapa is absolutely beautiful (the scenery, moreso than the town).  Breathtaking is about the only word I can come up with to describe the landscape & scenery.  The town has a 'French Alpine' feel to it - no surprise since it was built by the French in 1922. 

I'm loving being at a higher altitude, the cool crisp air is a welcome break after the chaos of Hanoi.

Okay - gotta grab some breakfast before TRAN our guide gets here.
