On Saturday we were rearing to go and headed onto Belfast, stopping off at Dunluce Castle, the ruins of an old castle perched right on the side of a cliff and then off to the Giant's Causeway. We spent the morning at the Giants Causeway which is one of the 10 natural wonders of the world! The shapes of the rocks are truly amazing, they are all a hexagonal shape and some are really tall! We had a great walk around the coast line and could even see across to Scotland because it was such a clear day! The next stop was the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge which sways 80 feet above ground- so we all had great fun swinging on it to freak everyone out! it was halarious!
The night we headed off to Belfast city which is really vibrant. We also learnt that is where the Titanic was built! I think Belfast is really picking itself up and it has a lot to offer- its also a real popular student city J We all drunk lots of Guinness that night i managed to fit 4 guinesses in my stomach which i was super impressed about, we also learnt how to drink it properly and i must say there is a bit of a knack to it!! We got to know our tour group and met lots of fun loving Irish locals- to be sure, to be sure! Hehe
Feking Gas Craic (slang for REALLY good times and good laughs)
