So we got up and Kirst was still ill, pounding head! We headed right to the top of the Colca Canyon to see the condors. We had a very small walk along the canyon edge, Kirst shuffled most of the way, in fact I'm surprised she managed it at all. Then the condors came out to fly up really close and right over our heads. Their wing span is 2-3 m and they is well massive!! They are extremely graceful seeing that they are so big. Then it was back to Arequipa. We had to go right up to the highest point again to go back, but Kirst was getting better by then. So now we are back in Arequipa and we have to get on a bus to the Bolivian border at 7pm and will arrive 3am. We apparently have to ask the bus driver if we can sleep on the bus. I hope he says yes! Then we are off to La Paz (capital of Bolivia). We'll go higher again, but hopefully we're sorted now, well sickeningly I've been ok! Well it was a good job we both weren't ill : D
