Naxos to Samos

Text written in: English

After our very early and painful awaking we slept most of the way to Samos, and in the last few hours Annabel was tutored in the fine art of playing backgammon by tourguide Athena. (For the record Annabel 2, Athena 0!) Brent amused himself by trying every possible combination from 000 to 999 to try and get into his padlocked pack. The stupid thing strangely changed, but luckily the combination was in the 400's so it wasn't too bad! Hotel Ino in Samos has a beautiful setting and pool, but is a fairly strenuous hike from the town. We went on our group walkabout to familiarise ourselves with the surroundings and found a great place for dinner. The biggest and juiciest omlettes in Greece we reckon. Can't remember the name of the place right now, but we know the name translates to 'evening'. Wheres that phrase book..... Tonight was the first windy and rainy night that we had struck on the islands and it was a welcome refreshment.
