First step into South America

From Panama we landed in Lima and stayed in the Miraflores district in our hostel.  Miraflores is very nice and the modern part of the city.  There were some paragliders playing in the park as we sat down to have dinner.  The food is still pretty cheap here.  Our meals were in a pretty fancy oceanside restaurant and only cost $7.  We're heading out on a flight to Cuzco after a day so not much time here.
