Katoomba

Three weeks of Sydney was too much. Decided to go to Katoomba in the Blue Mountains. Weather forecast predicted bad weather for our entire stay. Went to Echo Point, which had a cool view. To the left we could see a rock formation known as the 3 Sisters. Under that was some steps known as the Grand Stairway. 400 metres down, 900 steps. By the time we'd reached the bottom it was dark so we headed back.

The hostel we stayed in was called the Flying Fox. Nice little hostel with friendly people.  The roaring fire made it hard to stay awake though.
