We left lovely Ushuaia,in Argentina, and set off on our 12 hour bus journey to Punta Arenas,in Chile.Unfortunately 12 hours turned into 17 as we had to wait 5 hours for the road to clear in Ushuaia after protests about the local mayor.I`m not sure why he had upset so many people but it was eventually resolved.Punto Arenas looked a bit of a dump, and once again everywhere was shut because of a festival so we got a bus the next morning tp Puerto Natales.It meant we missed out on watching the penguins but I`m sure they will get over it.
