Sloths (not me)

Ok,

I thought this was gonna be the worst shore excusion ever, but it turned out to be one of the best.  We were due to go visit a sloth sanctuary, which to my mind conjoured up images of walking around a bunch of trees, every so often seeing a ball of furry crap up a tree and saying 'oh my god it's a sloth, quick, someone take me back to the boat, i need to change my pants'.

However this was very far from the truth, we actually got to see the rescue center, see adults close up, go for a kayak down a slow river through the jungle, go for a walk through the jungle, saw an owl, and best of all - saw some baby rescued sloths at the end, which may have been the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life.  And since i abhor using the word cute, that just goes to show how cute they were.  And not cute on rye bread with mustard, like most animals.

Well I'll post the photos, and that's about that.  We got back on the boat, and I proceeded to play more blackajack - I'm only up about $600 at this point :(.
