To the Beach

After leaving the sleezy hotel, we all went to a ritzy one. 

the journey their was great.  our old retired school bus broke down thanks to a break in the brake lines.  To our remarkable luck the driver was able to stop at the very top of a long windy hill.  only god knows what would have happened if we had started to go down the mountain already when the brakesw went out. 

again to our remarkable luck, our walk was really short because a huge family loaded into a pickup truck and a passenger van.  there was probably 30 of them all together. 

the hotel was expensive, but worth it.  There was surfing, a beautiful pool (Francie and I destroyed Steve & Chrissy at chicken fights in the pool), plenty of drinks, great food, greater company, beautiful rooms, beautiful views and everything else you can ask for.

this day was definitely a highlight.
