A mini entry about the mini Taj Mahal!

Text written in: English

Tuesday December 20th 2005
Sarah was not feeling well today and so me and Cindi went to check transport details for our trip to Nasik tomorrow.  We then thought we would see some of the limited tourist sites that Aurungabad has to offer, and went to see the 'mini Taj Mahal'.  The mini Taj Mahal was built by the great Taj's son, and is located in the centre of Aurungabad.  We got ripped off on the rickshaw fare as it was a lot closer to us than we thought, and to be honest it was nothing to look at.  It was great for Cindi as she has not seen the 'real' Taj Mahal, and I could appreciate the architecture, but it was in a very bad condition and very dirty.  It's a shame as they could really make it look nice with a little TLC.

We re-packed our bags once again and prepared for another journey and another early morning.
