I left Australia after a three day world music festival called WOMAD. It was an awesome send-off capstone to my six months in oz. I was there with my sister and all her crew from the part of the state that she lives in. the festival was in the capital of South Australia: Adelaide. It was three days and I got to see over 400 musicians from around 30 countries. It was spectacular and full of crazy things to see and hear. It was really sad to leave cause my sister and I have had some great times visiting with each other. And I'll miss my nephew heaps- the cute feral cheeky boy.

After the festival I flew to Los Angeles and was picked up by my old college roommate Troy. I haven't really seen Troy and his wife Heather since their wedding like 4 years ago. They live in San Diego now and I'm going to stay here with them for a week before I fly home to West Virginia. Well actually I have to fly to Roanoke Virginia because I'm using my frequent flyer miles and that is as close as they could get me. Whatever, it's a free trip.

Of course now that I am back in the ole U.S. of A. I have successfully made a trip around the world. I just kept going east. Visited both hemispheres and am now on my final leg back home.

We were talking about going to Mexico for the day this weekend. I figure that since it's so close then I should just go ahead and do it. Head to Tijuana for the day and eat some Mexican food.
