Udaipur

After a few days in Pushkar we caught an overnight bus (so no sleep there then!) to Udaipur, further south in Rajastan. The hotel we booked into was lovely and had hangings on the wall and a good restaurant attached. There was an incident on our first day however, as the wooden pins that were holding the fan onto the wall, rotted and broke and the fan landed on Mark's neck, breaking the skin and scaring the living shite out of us. Not a very good start really.

The next day we booked a flight to Mumbai departing the following day and so we spent the rest of the day wandering round the streets, visiting parks and gardens. As you can see.

For dinner we went to the Lake Palace hotel and the food was very nice, and you got loads of it, but unfortunately I was unwell afterwards and spent the whole night running to and from the bathroom. Not a nice end to the evening.
