Tea!!

I went to visit the Happy Valley Tea Estate on sunday. To get to the factory I had to walk down a dirt track leading through te plantation - it was very beautiful. I got shown round the factory by a guide but unfortunately none of the machines were in use as they had finished for the day but it was still interesting hearing about all the different processes. I then went to Mrs Kusum Rai's hut where she made me a cup of 5 second Super Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe 1 tea!! The water is boiled then the tea put in for 5 seconds then drained and the cup of tea is so lovely - it doesn't need any milk or sugar! I sat talking with Kusum for about a hour and cuddled her 2 week old kittens - so cute!!
Unfortunately I then had to walk back up to the road so was very tired when I got back! Still managed to do more shopping though! There are lots of tibetan shops selling all sorts of amazing things - its just so tempting!!
