Morning walked down to Temple of Athena at Delfi. Beautiful. Got there before the hordes and had some peaceful moments.
After lunck drove to Kalambaka. Hotel Divani. HAd a quick dip in pool, and then drinks with Americans, and a Melbourne couple on honeymoon.
27 Sep
Visited two monasteries perched on the rocks at meteora. Spectacular landscape. Lunck in Kalambaka, and a long journey back to Athens , stopping long enough at Thermopilai for P to have a look.
Dinner in Plaka and early to be. Parliament is debating whether to try Papandreaou on various corruption charges. Everyone in shops, restaurants, street vendors had their eyes and ears glued to TV or radio.
Yesterday a New Democracy politician was assassinated in Athens
