In the middle of nowhere

Text written in: English

Back out at Mum's place. Things have changed... they have made lily-ponds and bridges (inspired by Monet's garden at Giverny), and started a garden viney canopy thing (inspired bysomething at the Sissinghurst gardens) and there are apple trees, crab-apple trees, roses, lavender, and orange bits too, and other things I don't know the name of abound. Photos to follow.

My old hound Mickey (16 years old, that's 112 in dog years) took a while to remember who I was but I'm pretty sure he's worked that out now. He used to be head of household security but now he has to put up with chickens, roosters, several cats and frogs (cf. lily-ponds).
