Camino Inca - Day One

Text written in: English

For the first time in Cusco, i had to set an alarm to wake early for my pick up. Bus to KM 82, the starting point for the 4 day hike along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, picking up a few supplies and a few porters to carry thus said supplies. We hiked for about 3 hours in total along the Urubamba Valley, quite a pleasant afternoons walk, a "training day" guide Fredy says. Along the way a stop for some kind of pointless explination by Wonder (another guide as in Stevie) about a ruin called Patallacta. It did look good as the sun set. As we reach camp one, the porters have prepared tea with popcorn and cookies and already erected our tents, not bad.
